Easy and delicious recipes. : So happy I got this book. I had my Cast Iron for 2 years but felt intimidated by it 😂. I didn’t dare to use it cause I felt I was gonna mess up. But this book made it look so easy, and IT WAS!! My food comes out delicious. I can make so many different dishes (including desserts). And last time we went camping, my Cast Iron was the only cooking pan I brought and with the recipes on this book, I was able to make every meal. And my family loved it!

An absolute MUST-HAVE on your bookshelf : The Cast-iron cookbook is one that you absolutely need on your shelf. I was recommended this book by a good friend and home-chef after I ate a delicious strip steak with a perfect crust at her house.

Great Cookbook : I'm really excited to try all of the recipes in this cookbook! I had to start off with the peach cake recipe, which turned out excellent. Some of the ingredients are phrased oddly, such as bicarbonate soda instead of baking soda and vanilla essence instead of extract. You can figure out what they mean, though.

Easy to follow, with great tasting meals : My cast-iron skillet is the most probably the most heavily used piece of cookware I own, and I use it for a variety of things―it's my workhorse pan. I do keep my eyes open for good cookbooks on cooking with cast iron, and this is a good one that covers a lot of ground. Every book I own on cast iron has some advice on how to care for your cast iron, and this one is no exception. However, this one is a little more straightforward and clear and gives a bit more information than I have seen that the others I have collected. If you're looking for a good starting point for working with cast iron, this book provides it.

Lots of great recipes : I'm still fairly new to cooking in cast iron and have only made a few basic things (like cornbread) but I never realized how many different things you could make! It covers breakfast, lunches/snacks, dinners and even desserts. I love that there is a section for vegetarian meals too if you choose to do Meatless Monday or just for side dishes ideas if you aren't vegetarian.

Great for a beginner - Great for an advanced chef : I love food cooked in a cast iron pan. My family does it on our yearly camping trip. BUT - I'm not the one that cooks. Cast iron has always intimated me a bit ... I got this book to help with that. I just received it, and already it has helped. They have some create tips and techniques for cooking in cast iron - as well as - caring for it. I can't wait to try the baked Mac and Cheese!!!!

Amazing book! : I received this book not too long ago, and spent a long time reviewing all the recipes! There are so many great recipes in this book that I cannot wait to try. I love that this book is straight to the point; there’s not a ton of useless information in the beginning, it just gets straight into cast iron care, and then recipes! Great, great cookbook. Can’t wait to make all of these!
